Easy 10
Brain dead MUG SHEEP
Wee bit fortunate to get a point IMHO. The passing was pretty ropey, the midfield was almost non-existant, and we struggled all afternoon to win anything in the air. Leon was starved of service for the whole match, but took his one and only chance superbly.
Henderson had the best game I've seen him have for us, 2nd half in particular. He was strong, made good runs out wide, held the ball up, set up Albions 3rd goal, and was much more involved all-round.
Classic own goal by Plymouth - a stupendous lob from 25-30 yards out, which flew over the stranded keeper, bounced once and nestled beautifully in the side of the goal.
Equaliser - none to clever. After Roberts pulled off a superb stop low to his left, the resulting corner was headed in unchallenged at the far post.
Albions 2nd - near-post corner flicked up and on with his foot by OGH (I think), and scrambled in by Butters.
Albions 3rd, Henderson was played through on goal, and unselfishly laid a peach of a pass inside to Leon, who slotted it in low from 10 yards.
Plymouth scored later with a powerful header, Roberts had no chance. And equalised when a long ball was flicked on, thought ROberts had gathered it after a scramble, but it somehow popped out and was slammed into what looked like an empty net. It was at the far end, so I'm not quite sure how it happened, or if Roberts was at fault.
Their number 15 Wotton should have been sent off after hauling Henderson back just after they'd gone 3-1 down. Henderson somehow kept his feet though, went clean through but pulled his shot wide. The ref inexplicably only booked the fella though, after a clear professional foul. Unlikely Plymouth would have got those goals back had they been down to 10 men, but there ya go.
Good day out.
