I think Plymouth would have benefitted to the tune of £10,000 which they desperately need.
Looking at their forum they appear to be in a fairly dire situation with the options seeming to be limited to either administration or liquidation :nono:

From what a Plymouth supporting mate tells me the £10K is a drop in the ocean compared to the scale of the problems they have. Agree it's a shame for the exiles (including my stepmum) to lose a chance to see a game.

shame, I was really looking forward to this.
but neither do I think it would've helped Plymouth out of the mess they're in.

Don't all clubs in the FA cup get some sort of highlights TV fee, probably over 10k, so maybe we've done better out of it (not as good as having both granted) but they've done worse.
