That Sport magazine freeby you get in London.

Their predicitions for relegation:

--------------
Portsmouth
Scunthorpe
Palace

Well OK I'd rather Cardiff went down that harmless little Scunny, but you get my drift.

There is gossip that Palace are in line to sign Jay Simpson. I reckon they are going to be fine as they have some rich backers.

Bloody hell. Both Palace and Portsmouth 'suffered' points deductions that have had little effect on them.

I reckon that has to have been written before yesterdays court judgement, and was based on the cheating skate c-nts starting on -15.

No way will they be in the bottom half. They have a gazillion pounds of parachute dosh to blow on African internationals, to galvanise their charge to the top six.

[To the great delight of their long-suffering fans, obviously...]

Sadly true. Plus they've got Cotterill in charge who is a very good manager. But I like that particular ex Albion ACE, so lets hope he does the decent thing and relegates them.

What really stuck in the craw was this comment reported in The Times "n Portsmouth’s case, the nonfootball creditors owed money by the club — including the taxman — will now have to accept the administrator’s offer of 20p in the pound.

Peter Kubik, the joint administrator, said: “We have to sell the club now and we have the guy in the wings. Once the sale has gone through, the new owners can start buying players. With the new owners in place the club will succeed.” "

Has there ever been a more blatant "dump the debt then I'll buy it" scenario? Make a hurl.

From what I hear the whole of Pompey's first parachute payment is going elsewhere to pay off football debts, and Chainrai (the buyer) is only in it to get his money back by loaning the club Fratton Park - I don't think he's going to invest heavily in players.

I don't expect them to buy anyone decent or retain anyone worth keeping.

I think they will have to use their parachute money for other things rather than signing players. So I expect them to struggle

Scunthorpe yes but the other two are so jammy they'll end up in play-offs. Think Millwall will struggle so I'd say Millwall, Scunny and Barnsley.
