2. Every one of them that falls short of that highest grade, will be helped to find another club, if possible providing some income.

Is it not possible that certain players will have already been seen as not being likely to make the first team like Towell Sutner etc so will presumably be sold, if possible.

Based on someone on the Rotherham forum, we agreed a £300k deal for Towell but they couldn't agree terms with him? He's out of contract in the summer so I guess he wants to ensure he doesn't join a team that looks like it's going back down to League 1.

FIFA have ratified new restrictions on loans, yes. Due to be implemented from the 2020-21 season - FIFA to limit loan deals from 2020-21 season - report

However, there are reports that there will be sufficient exclusions that it will have practically no effect on clubs like Chelsea (or Albion). Supposedly, it is likely not to cover domestic loans, exclude players developed through the club's own academy system and not apply to players under 21 or 23.

Well if the rules excludes loan deals for players Under 23, or domestic loans then we’re never going to reach the 10 loan threshold.

I think out of our current 20+ loans it would only effect Schelotto, Suttner & Tau. It would have literally zero effect on us.

Maybe Mateju, depending upon the exact age criteria. So yep, only 4 of our existing 22 loans would be covered by the proposed new rules. Given that the allowable figure is likely to be between 6 and 8, we would be completely unaffected.
