Kuipers - 6 - Could do nothing with any of the goals.

Virgo - 5 - Had a stinker.
Cullip - 6 - Probably the best of the back four.
Butters - 5 - Positioning a bit iffy.
Harding - 5 - Schoolboy error.

Jarrett - 7 - So much talent, needs to pass sometimes though.
Oatway - 5 - Won a couple of tackles before promptly giving the ball away.
Nicolas - 6 - Hassled well all game, neat, short, tidy passes.
Reid - 6 - Few nice passes, seem to fade out towards the end.
Currie - 5 - Has two good feet but seemed to lack confidence.

Molango - 7 - Needs to work on his control but none the less an impressive debut.

Subs:
Robinson - 6 - Scored, but did nothing else, bit lightweight.
Jones - 5 - Came on, did nothing, wasted a free kick.
Hinshelwood - 5 - Only slightly better than Virgo.

currie looked out of his league and jarrett made good runs but just did too much then lost it. Molango looked good.

Kuipers - 5 Looked shaky and lacking confidence. Improved as time went on but didn't inspire confidence in the defence. Not much to do though.

Virgo - 5 - Substitution not surprising. Was having a torrid time.

Cullip - 6 - OK. Had to be careful after the booking

Butters - 5 Not one of his better performances

Harding - 5 - Unfortunate mistake which led to Reading scoring

Jarrett - 6 - Not a bad debut. Could be useful

Oatway - 5

Nicolas - 6

Reid - 6

Currie - 5 - Seemed a bit sluggish. Unfit?

Molango - 7 - Looks like a good prospect. Good attitude

Subs:

Robinson - 7 - Good substitution - runs into space - good positioning

Jones - 5

Hinshelwood - 5

jarret - 7. ran with the ball well, and was unlucky not to score

molango - 7. did well up front and never gave up

kuipers - 6 - now chance with the goals

virgo - 4 - complete stinker
cullip - 7- same old danny solid
butters - 6 - OK
harding - 5 - unlucky with the goal, not at his best

jarrett - 6 - really wanted to score, did to much on his own though
oatway - 6 - played well
nicolas - 6 - needs to get fit, looked ok
reid - 6 - played well

molango - 8 - ran after everything never gave up, great goal.

robinson - 7
jones - 6
hinshelwood - 6

currie - 0 - really isn't championship standard, very poor, needs to run into the space he has down the wing, he wanted to hold on to the ball not run for it. i pointed this out in the lewes match report, hart is a much better right winger

Geoff Hurst - 6.5 - Scored three times, but did nothing else. And one of the three wasn't over the line. Bring back Jimmy Greaves.
Get your fuckin tongue out that boys arse will ya... Yes he's an average player who may well do well for us in seasons to come if not this season but the way you bang on anyone would think he is god.

At the other extreme, you have never had a good word to say about him.
I've not had a bad word to say about him either... He needs to prove himself is all i'm saying, as do half our first team squad.

I think he's better than average for his age. He's still young and, as Mark McGhee said said, needs to get stronger - he's putting him through weight training etc to address that.

We all have our "gods" yours is Kuipers, mine are Hart & Roberts with Robinson in pursuit! One for the future, as you say.

thats a bit harsh - one bad game and you say he cant do any of that?! what did u say about him after the home leg to swindon then?

Kuipers - 6 - OK, but I want to have a look at that 3rd goal again.

Virgo - 5 - Strong defensively but distribution poor, the familar problem.
Cullip - 8 - Outstanding.
Butters - 6 - Solid.
Harding - 6 - Good, shame about the one bad error.

Jarrett - 7 - Hugely promising, McGhee has unearthed a rough diamond here.
Oatway - 7 - Sidwell/Harper kept in his pocket, a bad blow when he went off, Reading midfield then took control for 2nd goal.
Nicolas - 6 - OK, but we need more than this for a permanent signing, he's Reid-lite at the moment.
Reid - 6 - Tidy, coming back to full fitness.
Currie - 6 - Some lovely passes but wasted an important free kick near the end - meant to be a dead ball expert!

Molango - 6 - Nice finish, did OK isolated, touch a bit suspect.

Subs:
Robinson - 7 - Well done Jake, lovely finish and harried well. Would have been an Albion legend if he'd have stuck away that chance provided by Jonah.
Jones - 6 - Typical Jonah, mistakes mixed in with threatening play.
Hinshelwood - 6 - Good, putting pressure on Virgo.

I must have gone to a different game than you lot because I thought that

Our two best players Reid then Nicholas
Our two worst players Cullip and Butters

Cullip was responsible for the 2nd goal with a p..s poor header somebody has got to teach him to HEAD the ball either to a team mate or get distance on it a la Steve Foster in his day. Not just let it hit his head.
Butters was slightly better but the two of them left Kitson unmarked for the first goal.

The third goal was a f..k up by Dan Harding. The first rule indefending if in doubt kick it out especially if you are the last line of defence. Other than that he did OK but he was up against there best player Little on the rigfht wing.

I cringed when Jake Robinon came on because he is fragile and easily knocked off of the ball due to his lack of strength and weight but all credit to him he took his goal well.

Currie did ok and put insome very good crosses but there was nobody to capitalise on them.

Molango looked dangerous but his first touch is awful.

Kuipers didn't have a lot of chance with any of the goals but then I do not think that he is as good as Roberts anyway so I would recall Roberts as soon as he is fit.

Oatway did Ok during his time on the pitch as did Hinshlewood nothing special either good or bad.

Virgo had a poor game and was rightly taken off.
Jones came on and did precisely nothing.

We didn't get beat by as many as I expected and I saw some good signs so I am not too downbeat.

Reading are tipped to be near the playoffs and if I had to bet on either us staying up or Reading getting in the play offs I would go for us to stay up.

Kuipers 6 - no chance with the goals

Virgo 5 - gave the ball away to easy
Cullip 6 - lost Kitson for the 1st goal
Butters 6 - ok
Harding 5 - not as confident at fault for 3rd goal

Jarrett 6 - ran well with the ball but no end product
Oatway 6 - usual
Nicholas 7 - seemed confident knew what to do
Reid 7 - as above , played some good balls
Currie 6 - didn't have much of the ball, used it well when he did have it.

Molango 7 - took goal well,worked hard,got crowd going.

Robinson 7 - took his goal well, added to the side, needed for Tues
Jones 5 - never got into it.
Hinshelwood 6 - got better when he went to fullback

Unfortunately that idiot was correct

Jake was about 5 feet offside when the ball was passed. I was screaming at him to get back on-side.
