Interesting that he seems to have turned them down, at this point in time anyway.

Presumably even at Blackpool's level he'd have been able to triple his wages (at least), and have a season in the Premier League, probably play a fair bit, and if it didn't work out a Championship side would probably take a chance on him next season.

Maybe his agent's telling him there are Championship sides in for him now, who would offer him better money than Blackpool can...I can't see another PL team gambling on him, nor can I see why he'd want to hold out at Bournemouth until the next transfer window when he could be setting himself up for life elsewhere.
