The 8-0 thumping of some Russian lot (at least i think they were Russian, they were certainly russian for home after the game!), took some pics from the stand. got a grilling from the "Barce Crazy Boys" as to why I was wearing an Albion shirt and not a Barce one. They were happy when they discoverd they not premier (and not chelski) as its no good if lower than the top league.

I might put some of the pics on one of me sites at some point.

One thing for Bristish football to take note of.

I was allowed to sit in a stand and take pictures of a game using pro equipment. I could (if I had it with me) have used me full big lens kit if I wanted to.

This is one of the biggest clubs in the world, it is one of the biggest stadiums in the world.

Shrewsbury Town have snatch squads for spotting people taking pics with any camera.

Reading threaten to take action against any person that publishes pictures not through the official route.

Time British footie loosened up a bit I think, or does this prove that British football is only about money and not the fans or the game.

Blue and white stripes mean one thing in Barcelona... Espanya, the local rivals who play at the athletics stadium in the city.

So I can see where the Crazy Boys are coming from. I trust you explained that we have a similar problem with red and blue stripes in Brighton.

:lolol:

Marvin - not many fans there, was that taken during the game ?

Bearing in mind the capacity is 110,000, it could still be a bigger crowd that Manchester United ever get - although, from Marvin's angle at least, it does look more than half empty.

nearly 30, 000 LB, yes the picture was taken during the game (after the first goal)

I sat there and thought you could squeeze this lot into the Withdean. Then the official atten came on the screen. It seems a lot of people were in the end I was (it was not one of the 7 euro seats and was the cheapest otherwise available) and I was on the bottom of that so hard too know what the tiers above me were like.

I also usnderstand that the other lot were Slokvaks.
