Anyone notice the date yesterday? And not so much as a mention of the words 'five' and 'nil'. Glad we got that out the way.

I did have a few dark thoughts about it early yesterday. Then took a deep breath and moved on with my life.

If we were to go up, the main worry now is that they will go down cos they seem to enjoy losing even more than we do.

Whilst PtB isn't someone who ever expresses opinions on other people's threads, he did notice that his original thread for the Peterborough game seems to have disappeared at about 4.45pm on 26 October.

There's definitely a bad moon rising about that time every year.

There's a revived PtB Peterborough thread now up and running.

Even the Palace fans at the Triangle in Burgess Hill forgot about it. The day passed by without so much as a though of that dark dark day.

This is all a bit odd - but I checked my 2002 diary for some reason yesterday and it was only then that it clicked.

THERE WAS NO 26th OCTOBER LAST YEAR.

There was a 25th and a 27th but nothing in between.
