What tunes have the deepest, rumbliest, lovely bass?

For me I'd have to say PMT's Gyromancer is a very obvious candidate.

Lovely and thick and dirty and deep and I love it

PMT Gyromancer is indeed a cracking bassline.

best bass line for the old heads. Urban Shake Down - Some Justice. That tune used to rock Sterns (rip) to its core!

mmmmmm bass (how low can you go)

phew, where to start

The opening to Massive Attack's Blue lines is a bit of a favourite for me.

Eric Morillo, Harry Romero & Jose Nunez featuring Jessica Eve - Dancin' (Fuzzy Hair Mix). And it's only got three notes. Genius.

"Your name's not down..." Blast from the past there.

Wouldn't call it a bassline, but 'Sandstorm' by Darude must be one of the most kicking tracks in the history of dance music full stop.

I had a jungle tune once that started with a line off the film Goodfellas (something like 'one day some of the kids from school offered to ...) then dropped in the most stupidly huge bass line - it was brilliant.
