Anyone a fan of this band? Are they worth going to see live?

They are playing at the Dome tomorrow night and I have been offered a free ticket. I've had a quick listen on Spotify and they seem very different to anything else I listen to but I'm thinking I may as well give it a go.

I'd take the ticket and enjoy ! know some of their music, Classical Jazz, some nice melodies, Perpetuum Mobile and Air A Danser spring to mind.

Oo I know that Perpetuum Mobile one! It will be quite a contrast seeing them on Friday and then going to Brixton on Saturday for the NME tour with Magnetic Man and Crystal Castles

Edit: Actually I do know quite a few of their songs. I'm looking forward to it now.

If it's the Penguin Cafe Orchestra, you're in for a class night. Always good to give music you don't normally listen to a go - it's great to be surprised and have your tastes broadened.

I'm going but I'm more interested in the Portico Quartet -although the PCO are pleasant enough

I'm very happy I went, both bands were brilliant and I will be having more of a listen to Portico this weekend as they only played 4 (very long) songs.
