Paul Weller - Catch Flame

Apologies if this has been mentioned but thought I'd just give this the thumbs up. Its the modfather's latest live album - brings back memories of how great he was at the Brighton Centre last year. It features plenty of his solo tracks, a few Jam (In The Crowd, Thats Entertainment, Town Called Malice), a few Style Council (Long Hot Summer, Shout To The Top) and it really is worth a tenner of your money.

Anyone else got this? What dya think of it?

yes I have this, very good live album although I think I prefer Days of speed when it comes to weller live albums.

Yeah I'd probably go with that too.

Can't stop listening to this though, I'd almost forgotten how great Weller is live.

I've forgotten how many times I've seen him live now, he is aways excellent, just a shame he always plays in the Brighton Barn centre and not the Dome Like he did on the Wild Wood tour where the sound does his and the bands sound justice.

I'm not sure its really necessary to release a live album every year either, not that theres anything wrong with them, just seems a bit pointless
