Parking in Brighton at MEGA busy times

Coming down to White Air festival tonight at around 6pm, it will be proper chockablock.

If I do decide to drive, where should I stick the car that is reasonably near the seafront (Madeira Drive) but not gonna cost me an arm and a leg?

Anywhere near Queens Park. 2 hours parking until 8 will cost 1:30 or something.

I would've thought you could park in the marina easily enough, and it's free

I made the foolish mistake again of trying to drive into Brighton along the seafront (eastbound) at around 2pm on Saturday. RAMMED from Palmeira onwards, one-in-one-out of the carparks, queues you would not believe. Gave up, turned round, went home.

Must admit does get stressful when you keep going round in circles looking for parking. Best way in to Brighton is by bus, or cycle if you are near enough.

i always go to London rd car park. if your coming from that direction it saves alot of hassle driving right in to the seafront. you do have to walk a little, but feel like you've parked in the secret car park for local people.
