Parachute payments

When the new arrangements were put in place at the end of 2010/11 to extend the payments from two to four years does anyone know whether that was backdated to include clubs relegated from the Premier League in the previous two seasons ?

Looking at TBs recent comments about the size of our playing budget I was trying to work out which clubs, now in the Championship, are still getting the payments.

If they were backdated, then surely...

Middlesbrough £8m?

Just goes to show that you can't confuse financial fair play as defined by the Football League with a level playing field.

It really is a case of the haves have more and the have nots can go hang!
