Paint Pot Round Two

When is the draw for the next round and who could we get?

I know the "bye" teams are introduced but is it still divided regionally?

Yes, it is still regional.

We could get Forest, Brentford or Millwall.

Any of the above please.

Southwick
They have changed it this year to north east/west and south east/west so the south east final will be the Q.Final, if you understand what i mean.

That would mean Forest were in the South East section.

Weird.

Meanwhile, the League has also attempted to curb the practice of clubs fielding weakened teams in the early rounds.

Under competition rules, clubs are required to include a majority of the 11 players that have appeared most often in first-team games during the season.

Hope its Brentford.
I have a £5 bet with a Brentford fan workmate that we finish below them this season. Could be a useful pointer to current form.

Who gives a flying f***. The Johnston's piss-pot is an acceptance of mediocrity and should be boycotted throughout. As a club, the Albion have to be aiming higher than this.

Have nothing to do with it.

"Teams must field at least SIX first-team regulars in all rounds of the Johnstons Paint Trophy, or risk a FINE from the Football League".

I read that on Sunday, I did.

Boston were the most southern of the North Eastern sides so got put in the South East seciton as to make the numbers even. If they had gone for the normal North and South make up then I am sure they would have been in the Northern Section. Although having said that we played them in the old LDV Trohpy at Withdean a couple of years ago and they were in the Southern Section. Who at the FA/Football League looks at a map of England?

Who knows Joey.
The 1st round of the League Cup is also divided into Northern and Southern sections. Notts County (NORTH of the Trent) were in the Southern section of the draw, whilst Forest (SOUTH of the Trent) were in the Northern side of the draw.

Go figure.

Any of the London clubs please away, too much hassle to go any further than that for this competition.
