We have had an at times light-hearted reflection of events involving Albion in 2015 in our Christmas Day Countdown.
Important wins, great goals, impressive performances. Even the “serious” stuff has been things like a knee injury here, a run of poor results there.
But one horrific tragedy overshadowed Albion, football and the Brighton and Shoreham area as a whole this year.
Of course the airshow tragedy of August 22 was the worst event associated with Albion and the local community of the year. Any year.
A look back at 2015 could not ignore what happened that day and in its aftermath.
All this was done under a hashtag - #TOGETHER – initially devised for commercial purposes but which came to signify an awful lot more.
Time, they say, is a great healer. Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe each day just takes you a bit further away from the things, the places or, in this case, the people you want to be with.
A year which began with the sad loss of supporter extraordinaire Sarah Watts, a woman described as an Albion foot soldier in the battle to protect the club’s existence in the 1990s and then secure a new home, brought unprecedented tragedy in late summer.
This will have been a very strange Christmas Day for the people most affected by those losses.
To them – and readers everywhere – a healthy, safe and hopefully happy new year.
