Oscar Garcia has Gordon Greer for another two seasons
* Albion head coach Oscar Garcia is relieved to have held onto captain Gordon Greer.
* The club confirmed today that Greer has signed a new contract keeping him at the club until the end of next season, after persistent interest from Leeds United.
* Oscar said: "One of my targets when I arrived here was to keep Gordon here because he is the captain and he's a leader. For me, he is very important this season."
* Oscar will still be without Andrea Orlandi (knee) for tomorrow's trip to Birmingham City.
* Republic of Ireland duo Stephen Ward and Keith Andrews, landed on season-loan loan deals from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bolton Wanderers respectively, are both likely to make their full debuts.
