I hear it from a man who knows that today was one of the biggest swells for years in Britain. The pictures on that site are taken from miles away on the headland at Croyde (North Devon), 12-ft waves, no place for the amateur and only the Point-Break stylee psychos were out on it today after it was building all weekend. You can just see a couple in the piccies.

That is serious surf for the UK.

yeah I heard rumors of big surf down that way, one reason why i gave up at an early age as Southwick is the only place locally (without transport) thats any good....and then its crap! The Hot pipe still turns good but I aint re-learning that anymore...snowboarding for me, although at 26 I suddenly wanna start skateboarding again
