Lowe blow for Rusden
Rushden and Diamonds have been told that leading scorer Onandi Lowe faces at least six weeks on the sidelines.
Scans have confirmed that the Jamaican international suffered a groin tear after scoring his eighth goal of the season in the 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday.
"Onandi won't need an operation, but he will be out of action for a minimum of six weeks," confirmed manager Brian Talbot.
"It's a massive blow for us because he has been in excellent form this season," Talbot told his club's website.
Lowe has failed to score in only one of the Diamonds' games this season - taking his tally to 41 league goals in 70 starts for the club.
Talbot may now look to sign a replacement ahead of Saturday's visit of Stockport.
