Right then, any recommendations for a group of thirty-something dads let out for the night for a few beers in Brighton?!?

We would normally go to the Lanes (Font etc) but thinking there must be some other places - within staggering distance of the station.

Ideas gratefully received.

Well, the font's probably my least favourite pub in the whole of Brighton, except perhaps for Yates, so I'm probably not the person to ask...

It's not one of my particular favourties either but for some reason we always seem to pop in there at some point.

To be honest, being a Haywards Heath dweller, I would probably favour the Broadway (Orange Sq etc) but we fancied Brighton for a bit of a change.

You should seriously consider paying a visit to RDF in Preston Street at some point. Unless you're not particularly fussed about a team of drop-dead GORGEOUS chicks (one of them a 'Gullys Girl' I believe), cavorting on the bar in their undies for your pleasure and entertainment.

I STILL can't believe its free to get in that place.

The only drawback is that you can only buy bottled beer in there, nothing on draft. But its not outrageously priced, and honestly, no pub crawl in Brighton is complete without a visit. I can get a semi just thinking about it.

It was the last time I went there. That was a few years back though.
