Does anyone know of any charity that takes old football strips? The BBC has its shirt amnesty but that's finished for the year and they're not taking any more.

I have a collection of old Brighton shirts (and a few others) that could go. It seems a shame to chuck them out.

Sacrilege! Why would you want to chuck out your old BHA shirts? Just store them out of the way and in 20yrs time you'll have some pukka, wall-mountable, historic BHA memorabilia.

I need to get rid of them because I'm moving from a place that has a walk-in cloakroom and two big cupboards to a place that has about a third of the storage space.

I'm having a cull of my personal possessions, but it's a shame to throw shirts away.

It's more than 'a shame' it's obscene! I've never recovered from losing my 1987 NOBO shirt (XL). Totally irreplacable, and despite trawling the charity shops I've never found a replacement...or any other replica Albion shirts in charity shops come to that.

I posted last week that a charity i help support (orphans in pattaya, Thailand)
want as many old footy shirts as possible.

we are visiting them next february as our 30th year of supporting the orphanage.

if you want to send the shirts to me to take to the kids, just pm me and we'll sort it out

cheers

That's particularly sad, even by NSC standards.

Minghawk, thanks for the advice. I'll get that sorted.

Just a thought about your old shirts;

It looks like a few people on here are interested in buying them off you,me included.

Why not Auction them off on here a la E bay style and put the money towards REMF ?
