I'm assuming that we all agree that including Max Bygraves would have distorted the results so much as to render them invalid.

It has to be Des. I mean Roger Whittaker ? I can bloody whistle, so that makes me at least as brilliant a musician as him. Utter dross, Rolf Harris even kicks his (_!_) with a wobble-board and his stupid "um-hah" breaths .

If you are Irish, then 'Val' might end in 'uable', but I ain't Irish. Nothing against the Irish necessarily (apart from those feudin' Hatfields and McCoys in the North) but he hasn't any discernable talent that I can make out under a microscope.

I can't think of anything to say about Des, so he wins the rubber-stamp of NMH approval here.
