Paul Brush faces the sack if he does not reverse Leyton Orient's disastrous start to the season by Christmas.

Orient chairman Barry Hearn demanded a promotion challenge this season, but four defeats and just one win from seven matches has piled the pressure on his manager.

Hearn told the London Evening Standard: "The deadline is visible. I'm not going to let him carry on if we're bottom at Christmas, so he needs to turn it around quickly.

"We've given the manager everything he's asked for and they're not doing anything.

"I'm not going to make a knee-jerk reaction after seven games but I am looking at the situation."

Thing is, I don't give a **** how much money he's put in to the club.
An awful lot of fans have put in a bigger percentage of their income into Leyton Orient than he has.

I do not support Orient for any financial gain nor do i ever expect to receive any financial reward for the time, effort and money i put into supporting this club.

See jrshelp2shout and CEB's posts above. He is doing it as an investment, which is fair enough - but he therefore should not play the emotional involvement card when things start to go wrong and people start getting angry.
