Zamora ended a slick counter-attacking move involving Beram Kayal and Anthony Knockaert by firing a first-time strike beyond Jed Steer to give Albion the lead.
*
He said, “It was their corner, we broke and I wanted to try and get myself into the box. I managed to put the after-burners on, Anthony put a great ball in and I tried to hit the target.
*
“It was just a case of getting into the box; he [Anthony] looked like he needed someone in there.
*
“I was free on the far post and he managed to put a great ball in; I’ve hit it first time and it went into the bottom corner.
*
“I didn’t have much left in the tank, but I’m just pleased to hit the target and thankfully it went in.”

The legendary frontman also praised the quality shown for the second goal, with Knockaert involved again to provide a perfectly-weighted cross for James Wilson to nod home.
*
“James is champing at the bit; he’s been ill for the past couple of weeks but he’s over that now and I’m so pleased that he scored.
*
“Anthony has been tremendous since he came to us. He drove into the box and managed to pick Willow out, who still had work to do with the ball behind him and it was a great header.
*
“He’s got that ability. He may not be the big target man or a player with complete flair, but he certainly knows where the goal is and that’s what you need.”
*
Zamora is now eager for Albion to continue their winning momentum after back-to-back victories.
*
“No-one goes unbeaten all the way through the season because it’s a very tough league. But we need to keep knocking on the door and keep going.”[h=3]ALBION V BRENTFORD
