It’s nice to go into the Derby game with a win under our belts and we’re all certainly looking forward to the game."

Brighton & Hove Albion take on Derby County in an FA Youth Cup third round tie at the Amex tonight, kick-off 7pm.
*

It is the first match in the competition for both teams, as fellow category one side Derby currently play in the Barclays Under-18 Premier League North Group.
*
Under-18 coach Simon Rusk is expecting a tough test for his side, but feels his players will be going into the match full of confidence following last week’s hard-fought 1-0 victory at Norwich City.
*
He told seagulls.co.uk, “It’s nice to go into the Derby game with a win under our belts and we’re all certainly looking forward to the game.“I know a lot about Derby after playing them in pre-season and I’ve watched some of their games. They’re well organised, they’ve adapted to category one under-18 football very well, and so it should be a very good game.
“Some of the players have already had experience of playing at the Amex and a few of the lads played against Everton at Goodison Park last year.
“The boys won’t be daunted by what is another great challenge, but they can only do their best."
