Brighton & Hove Albion keeper David Stockdale is no longer looking down the Championship table.
*
The former Fulham man was brimming with confidence after the 1-0 win at Blackburn Rovers opened up a ten point gap between Chris Hughton’s men and the relegation places, while Albion currently sit in 16th position, their highest league placing since September.
*
Stockdale told seagulls.co.uk, “Now we’re looking up the table. I asked after the Blackburn game where are we in the table and was told 16th and my response was ‘how far can we go?’
*
“That is the question now, how far can we go, and prove that this year is not all doom and gloom. Hopefully we can bring some good times to the Amex again.
*
“Coming off a win we would probably like to have a game on Tuesday and then Saturday, but we can have a nice rest and do some work on the training pitch.”

Stockdale achieved consecutive clean sheets away at Millwall and Blackburn, and the keeper praised Greg Halford, who deputised at centre back for the suspended Lewis Dunk in those two fixtures.
*
He added, “Greg is always solid. He is there to come in and be solid and that is exactly what he does.
*
“Whether he likes it or not he can play in every position, and I have to say a big well done to the defence for the Blackburn game as they rarely got past them.”
