Dale Stephens admits he is excited for Brighton & Hove Albion's play-off push and believes that his past promotion experience will benefit him in the final games of the season.
The midfielder, who joined from today's opponents Charlton in January, was part of the Addicks' 2012 League One-winning side and played a key role throughout the campaign.
He told seagulls.co.uk, "I've never been involved in any sort of play-off push before so I'm finding it exciting like everyone else.
"That said, I have been promoted before and hopefully that experience will stand me in good stead.
"It was a great victory [against Leicester] on Tuesday. It's a result that's been coming for five or six games now and it's definitely boosted morale around the place.
"The play-off chase is still quite tight and while we can't do anything about anyone else's fixtures, we can look after ourselves and, hopefully, do enough come the end of the season.
"It's a great time to be involved, especially with the situation we find ourselves in."

Stephens also spoke of the plight of his former club, believing that they'll arrive fully prepared as they look to secure their Championship status under the recently appointed Jose Riga.

"The minimum they'll bring is hard work – they're fighting for their lives.
"Sometimes when teams come here they've got nothing to play for, but there will be pressure on both sides today and hopefully we can handle it better.
"They've got a game or two in hand and obviously it's disappointing to see where they are in the league, but I think they've got enough so stay up.

"But, we've got to look after our own business and I wouldn't expect anything less from us."
