It's one year until the Brighton Community Stadium will host two Rugby World Cup 2015 matches and to mark the occasion, the Webb Ellis Trophy was in the city and at the stadium earlier today.Brighton will host South Africa v Japan and Samoa v USA, on the weekend of the 19th/20th September 2015, and such has been the popularity in the city that both matches are expected to go to a ballot.
Rugby fans can still apply for tickets to both matches before 29th September, with full details below, and when fans apply it will not affect their chances of success should the game go to a ballot.
Up to one million tickets are available to fans across the world, and are priced in four categories for all 48 matches, starting at £15 for adults. Child tickets, priced from £7, will be available for 41 matches.
Fans will need to create an account at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com in order to apply, and can apply for up to four tickets per match. For 15 fixtures fans can apply for up to 15 tickets.
Tickets will not be sold on a first come, first served basis, oversubscribed matches and price categories will go to a ballot to ensure fair allocation.

A number of tools have been introduced to help fans, including Match Manager, allowing fans to limit their spend by submitting an application for several matches but capping the number of matches they can be allocated.Fans can also opt to be allocated tickets at the next highest price category in the event that tickets at their selected category are oversubscribed or unavailable.* Use of both tools is optional.
Debbie Jevans, CEO of England Rugby 2015, said: "We are about to embark on an exciting period in the build up to Rugby World Cup 2015, as tickets go on general sale next month. The tournament is now just over one year away and the rugby world is counting down to Rugby World Cup 2015.
"The application window will be open from September 12 – 29, 2014 and fans can create a ticketing account and start planning their tournament. We have worked hard to develop a ticketing system which makes the application process easy and efficient, and offers flexibility to fans.
"Prices start at £15 for adults and £7 for children. With 13 Match Venues situated in Host Cities all over England and in Cardiff, it's a great opportunity for the whole nation to watch the best teams in the world compete for rugby's most prestigious prize.”
Fans will be informed of which tickets they have been successful in purchasing in October. Any remaining tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis from November.
