I am aiming to just to go there and perform as well as I can, and do my job when I get the chance on the pitch."
Sophie Perry
Albion women defender Sophie Perry has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad where she will face England and the Netherlands as part of a four-day training camp.

Perry will train with Sue Ronan’s squad in La Manga, Spain, to begin the preparations for a crucial World Cup qualifier against reigning European champions Germany on 5th April. She told seagulls.co.uk, “I’m really happy to be included in the squad again.
“It will be good to play against England; they’ve got some strong players that I’ve played with before like Siobhan Chamberlain and Casey Stoney.
“As it’s a training camp, there will be a big squad going and some of the younger players are likely to be brought in as well. It will be good to get some playing time under our belts and prepare for the next World Cup Qualifier against Germany.
“I am aiming to just to go there and perform as well as I can, and do my job when I get the chance on the pitch."
The 27-year-old may know quite a bit about England already, after representing them at under-19 and under-23 level, but admits she does not know too much about the Netherlands.
She added, “When we play against England, we’ll know they play quite similarly to us, but we’ve not played Holland before, so they’re a bit more of an unknown quantity.
“They will probably be similar to Germany; quite strong and physical on the ball, but that is what we need to best prepare for the game.”
The Republic of Ireland’s training camp runs from 13th-17th January.
