Brighton & Hove Albion women’s midfielder Charlotte Owen believes Charlton Athletic will provide the side with one of their toughest tests of the season so far.
*
Owen scored a brace in Albion’s 5-1 win at Gillingham on Thursday but says the focus has turned to today's match against the Addicks.
*
She told seagulls.co.uk, “Charlton are going to be stronger, fitter and faster. They are doing well in the league and we need to be focussed when we go out onto the pitch.“It’s going to be a tough game and one of our biggest tests, so hopefully we can build on our performance on Thursday, go out there and put in a similar performance at Charlton.”

The midfielder also believes the work Albion have been putting in on the training ground is finally beginning to pay off as they sit top of the Women’s Premier League Southern Division after seven games.
*
“In training we are a completely different team. We pass the ball a lot more and are much better, but we haven’t been showing it in games.
*
“We showed it against Gillingham but it’s still not our best and we’ve got more to come.“We must not try to force it or give the ball away as much, because we are at our best when we remain calm on the ball."
