Albion midfielder has been called up by Chris Coleman
Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder, Andrew Crofts, has earned a recall to the Wales squad for their upcoming friendly against Northern Ireland on Thursday 24th March, kick-off 7.45pm.
*
The game, which takes place at the Cardiff City Stadium, could be the first time Crofts has appeared for his country since a 3-0 defeat to Serbia in a World Cup qualifier back in September 2013.
*
The 31-year-old has 26 senior Wales caps to his name after representing the country at under-21 and under-19 level.
*
The call-up sums up a remarkable turnaround in fortunes for the midfielder, who made his comeback from a long-term knee injury in October last year and has made 18 appearances for Albion this season.
*
Crofts is the latest in a growing list of Albion players to have received international recognition, with six other players also earning senior call-ups.
