Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed a deal with Barnsley for the transfer of young midfielder Charlie Harris, who has signed a deal until June 2017 with the Tykes.Simon Rusk
The 20-year-old was a regular in Simon Rusk's under-21 squad and spent time on loan with National League side Aldershot at the start of this season, making four appearances and scoring once.
Under-21 coach Simon Rusk said, "It's a good move for Charlie. At this moment in time, there aren't the opportunities for him here at Brighton, but it's pleasing that he's managed to secure something at a good League One club.
"Charlie has great enthusiasm, and has worked hard for the club and this is a reward for that approach. I've enjoyed working with him and on behalf of everyone here, I would like to wish him all the best for the future."

Academy manager John Morling added, "It's a great move for Charlie, he trained up there last week and played in a practice match on Friday.
"He's been offered a contract with them, which is great. He's got a really good chance of making his Football League debut and progressing his career. He is a great lad and we wish him all the best."
The youngster progressed through the club's youth set-up, stepping up to the under-21 squad at the end of the 2013/14 season.
Harris featured in the 2014 first-team squad that went on tour to southern Spain and scored in a 4-0 friendly win over Partick Thistle.*
He was also an unused substitute in a 2-0 win over Cheltenham Town in a Capital One Cup first round tie last season.*
