Albion's shot-stopper has received another call-up
Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa has been called up to the Finland squad for their forthcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Iceland and Croatia.Mixu Paatelainen’s side will play Iceland in Reykjavik on Thursday 6th October, before hosting Croatia in Tampere the following Sunday, 9th October.

The goalkeeper was an unused substitute in Finland’s opening qualifying match on Monday 5th September, where they were held to a 1-1 draw by Kosovo in Turku.

Maenpaa has amassed a total of 25 caps for Finland, and his last appearance came in a 2-0 defeat to Norway back in March.
