Nathan Jones says the tributes that will be paid at today's game to Lance Corporal James Brynin and other fallen service members, puts football into perspective.
Albion have chosen the fixture against Blackburn as their official Remembrance Day match, and respects will be paid prior to kick-off to commemorate all those who have given their lives in the line of duty, including life-long Albion fan Brynin who was killed in action last month.Jones told seagulls.co.uk, "Putting your life on the line puts an injury crisis and results into perspective.
“It’s a really sad time, for someone as young as Jay to have lost his life defending the country, and I can’t think how I’d feel if someone in my family was out there.
“The country is proud of them, we at Albion are proud of them and it's important we pay our respects to them all today."
