Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey admitted his delight at being named in a squad full of Premier League quality for England under-21s two-legged Euro play-off with Croatia this international break.However, the 20-year-old accepts that the volume of talent in Gareth Southgate's 23-man squad will mean he will have to fight for a place in the team for the first leg at Wolves' Molineux stadium this Friday.
Arsenal's Calum Chambers, West Brom's Saido Berahino and Manchester United's Luke Shaw are all in the squad, despite bring expected to be named as part of Roy Hodgson's senior squad as Southgate looks to negotiate a passage to next summer's championships.

Forster-Caskey told seagulls.co.uk. "If you look at the squad, it's really strong this time with a number of players who have played regular Premier League football, so I'm delighted to have been called up again."To gain England recognition, you've got to be playing regularly for your club side first and foremost, then hopefully you've done enough to be selected.
"Given the strength of the squad this time, I know I'm going to have to work really hard to be involved in the games, but I'm really looking forward to the challenge and meeting up with the lads.
"When I saw the squad announced last week, I was delighted to have been called up - a real proud moment for me.”
Meanwhile Forster-Caskey says that there is a determination among the under-21 squad to confirm their place in the summer tournament in the Czech Republic.
"We've got two games, home and away, so it's going to be really tough because they are a good football nation.
"It will be a real test for us but hopefully we can win because we all want to play in the European Championships at the end of the season."
