Albion have four players away on international duty this weekend.Stephen Ward’s impressive form since joining the Seagulls has earned him a recall to the Republic of Ireland squad, as Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane take charge for the first time since their appointment last week.
The Irishman could face Albion team-mate Vitalijs Maksimenko, who has been named in the Latvian squad that are due to face the Irish on Saturday.
Maksimenko will then travel back to England with his Latvian team-mates to play former club Yeovil Town in a friendly. It will be the first time the centre-back has returned to Huish Park since helping the side to promotion via the League One Play-Offs last season during a loan spell from the Albion.
Meanwhile Scottish duo Gordon Greer and Craig Conway have been named in Gordon Strachan’s squad for their friendly fixture against USA.
