Brighton & Hove Albion manager Sami Hyypia is staying positive in his approach as he seeks to lift his side away from the relegation zone over the festive period.The Seagulls boss admitted it has been a tough period, but he's remaining upbeat ahead of tomorrow's trip to Wolves and has spent part of the week evaluating the club's situation.
Hyypia said, "I always aim to be happy and energetic in training because that’s the only way we can go forward; with a positive attitude.

"Of course in this kind of period you always think about things, your own performance and whether you’ve done enough or absolutely everything you can in your power to change things.
"When things are not going your way then of course there is doubt. But I’m positive and confident and trust what I do, that’s not going to change.
"I always try to improve, try to get some more information or talk to people who can give me good advice in this situation, and management in general.
"In this situation it’s good to talk to some managers with a lot of experience in every situation and I think that’s the right way to do it."

Meanwhile Hyypia has received the full support of his squad this week, but he's warned his players attitude, hard work and concentration are the key to arresting the slump in form."It’s not going to be easy, I think every game in this league is going to be difficult if you are not on top of your game and we need to do that with a good attitude.
"I’ve said all along that we need to do everything we can on the pitch and we can’t leave anything out there after 90 minutes. I want the players to give everything and concentrate for 90 minutes and that’s how it should be for every game.
"That’s my idea of being a professional footballer, when you have a chance to play in front of a big crowd you need to do absolutely everything you can for the team and fans as well. If that’s the case tomorrow then I’m very happy as well and when we are able to do that, then we’ll win the game."
