Albion and Hull paid tribute to the 11 victims of the Shoreham air crash prior to kick-off.Tomer Hemed scored his 4th goal of the season against the Tigers.
Hull City’s last away win against Brighton was over 50 years ago when the Tigers secured a 2-1 victory at the Goldstone in August 1965.
Kazenga LuaLua received his 5th yellow card of the season and will be suspended for Tuesday’s visit of Rotherham United.
It has been more than 10 years since either side has won this fixture by a bigger margin of one goal, either home or away, since the Tigers defeated Albion 2-0 back in August 2005.
