They have a very honest and committed team and Mick gets the very best out of them. "

Team News: “The only one who is doubtful is Inigo Calderon, who was just a little bit sore after the game and didn’t train on Thursday.
“We’ll see how he is, but he would be the only doubt for the weekend.”

A top of the table battle: “From our point of view, it’s very good to be where we are and we’ve had a good start.
*
“At this moment we are where we want to be and when you’re in a good position in the league, then you don’t want that to change.
*
“We wanted to be in a position where we could challenge that top six far more than what we were able to last season.
*
“But we know that there is an incredible number of good teams in this division. We want to stay up there, but that will be by making sure that we get good enough results to be able to do that.
*
“It’s certainly no surprise that Ipswich are right there. They are one of a group of teams that we very much expect to be up near the top of the table."

The threat from Ipswich: “They have a very honest and committed team and Mick gets the very best out of them.
*
“I expect them to be as strong this season as they were last season. I expect that any game away at Ipswich would be a very difficult one.
*
“If you look at the reasons why they did well, it was because there was no let up from them and I expect that to be the case this season.
*
“They lost Tyrone Mings at left-back, but they were also allowed to invest in the squad and I expect them to be very strong.”

Facing Mick McCarthy: “I look forward to seeing Mick, because he’s a good friend and somebody that I’ve known for a long time.
*
“Even though we’re around the same age as such, I very much followed his managerial career and have admired everything that he’s done.
*
“I look forward to seeing him before the game and afterwards as well. But the fact that I know him well doesn’t give me any advantage; we just hope that the team on the day gets something from the game.
*
“They had a very good season last season and just missed out on promotion in the play-offs. Mick has done an outstanding job there.”
