
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has been nominated to win the Sky Bet Manager of the Month award for September.

It is the second time in as many months that the Seagulls boss has received the nomination, after winning the award for August following four wins in five games at the start of the season.

Albion extended their unbeaten run to nine games during September, which included wins over Hull City and Rotherham United and draws with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bolton Wanderers.

In ten games to date the Seagulls have amassed 22 points out of a possible 30 and are currently two points clear of second-placed Middlesbrough.
