Brighton & Hove Albion women’s midfielder Amy Green is looking forward to returning to Culver Road for the side's first home game after eight consecutive away matches.
*
The Seagulls face Charlton, kick-off 2pm, on Sunday in their first home game for almost two months and Green admits it will be a happy return.
*
She told seagulls.co.uk, “It’s such a relief after all the travelling. We’re looking forward to being at home in front of all our supporters.
*
“We’ve prepared really well in training and our intensity levels have gone up, but it’s going to be a tough test.”
*
The Seagulls lost just once in their eight away games but that came against Sunday’s opponents Charlton.
*
“The mentality of everyone wasn’t right last time and hopefully this time we’ll come out with a better fight because we’re at home and we’ve improved since then.
*
“We can put in a battling performance against them and do more than last time, but I think it’s going to be a difficult game."

Charlton currently sit third in the Women’s Premier League Southern Division, a place ahead of Albion who could leapfrog the Addicks with a win.
*
“The top of the table is so tight and there’s everything to play for. There are only three points between the top five teams, which is good.
*
“We’ve got to go into every game with a fresh mind. Winning the last three games wasn’t easy as they were tough games.
*
“We’ll be confident and we’ve just got to prepare like we would for any other game.”
*
Green went onto admit how much she is enjoying her time at Brighton and how she can see the team improving.
*
“To be selected every week, with the quality of players we’ve got, is such a privilege and I’m loving it.
*
“I’m loving the experience and we’re just getting better and better as players and as a team.”
*
Admission to Sunday’s game is free for all Albion season-ticket holders and children under-16, otherwise entry is priced at £3 for adults. [h=3]ALBION V WIGAN
