In our new feature Brighton & Hove Albion’s in-house betting tipster Ferret goes head-to-head with one Albion fan each week, predicting the scores for the next round of Championship fixtures. This week he is up against Guy Brooks, with the pair seemingly in agreement with who will be victorious although neither agrees on any scorelines.
There are three points up for grabs for each correct score while there is one point available for correctly guessing the result (picking the correct winner or a draw).
Throughout the rest of the season each fan’s score will be calculated and stored with the supporter who has gained the most amount of points winning a to-be-confirmed Albion-related prize.
To be in with a chance of facing the Ferret for the next game keep an eye on the club’s official Facebook page.

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

FERRET'S SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY TIPSSky Bet offer 21/10 that the Albion can come away with all three points on Saturday, and while my score prediction above suggests that I think this is possible, those odds are just a bit too skinny to get involved at. Wednesday are 13/10 favourites and the draw is the outsider at 11/5.
**
Sam Baldock is 8/1 to score first, and he may get an immediate recall to the starting line-up after it was announced he is available for the fixture. If so then those are good odds.
*
Another overpriced option is Sheffield Wednesday/Draw @ 16/1 in the half-time/full time category. Obviously we would hope that the Seagulls do not fall behind, but they have shown resilience this season in getting back into games and so a half-time deficit does not mean the end of their point prospects.
*
Finally, Sheffield Wednesday has not been pulling up too many trees recently – they have not won for five matches - and Albion could take advantage in this match. With that said Sky Bet offer 10/1 for Brighton to win by 2 goals and that is a great blue-and-white tinted shout!
