Colunga signed for the Seagulls in the summer from another La Liga side, Getafe, and has hit the net four times in 21 appearances for Albion.
The striker’s last goal came from the penalty spot in December during Albion’s 2-0 win away at Fulham and his last appearance came off the bench against Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round defeat last week.
The two clubs have also agreed the terms of a permanent transfer for Colunga to Granada at the end of the season subject to certain criteria being met during the player's loan spell.
