The defender has yet to make an appearance for the Seagulls this season and Chris Hughton highlighted the importance of Chicksen getting some first-team action.
He told seagulls.co.uk, "Adam is a very professional and determined player and he needs to be playing.

"He takes extremely good care of himself, has a terrific attitude and approach and he wants to play first-team football - so this loan move will provide him with that chance.
"This will not only be of benefit to him and Leyton Orient, but also to us as a club as it means we have another player out on loan gaining valuable competitive first-team experience.
"It now means we have Glen Rea, Jake Forster-Caskey and Adam out on loan, learning and growing as players, which is good for their future and that of the club."
