Liam Bridcutt has capped a memorable couple of weeks by being named in the Championship's top ten players of the season.In the last fortnight the 23-year-old has helped the Seagulls to a 3-0 win over rivals Crystal Palace, made his international debut for Scotland, and has now been named among the division's best performers for 2012/13.
Managers from across the npower Championship were asked to name their best five players in the division (excluding those at their own club), and Bridcutt’s consistency has earned him a place among the league’s stand-out players.
Bridcutt's inclusion further enhances the holding midfielder’s reputation and highlights the terrific progress he has made since arriving on the south coast from Chelsea in 2010.
Watford's on-loan striker Matej Vydra scooped the top award at Sunday’s Football League Awards.
