Albion chairman Tony Bloom will be running alongside Dan Lawson this afternoon as he enters the final stages of his record breaking run.Bloom will also be joined by Albion chief executive Paul Barber as both men show their support for Dan’s incredible feat.
AITC’s health manager has been running for up to 17 hours a day in his attempt to break the world record for the greatest distance covered on a treadmill in a week – 520 miles – and he enters the final stretch, at Jubilee Square in Brighton, today.
At a daily average of over 75 miles, Dan has pushed himself to the limit and went through the 450-mile barrier at 9 am this morning after rising at 5.30am on the back of just two hours’ sleep.
The amazing test of physical and mental strength is to raise funds and awareness for AITC’s children’s activity projects, designed to keep our youngsters healthy and active.
