Well Mark McGhee cannot be blamed for the current state of affairs. Lets be honest we have been rubbish all season with the exception of 3 games, QPR, Sheff Weds and Rushden & Diamonds. Coppell could extract the best from a fairly average side but the traitor let us down and the last 5 games are attributable to him.

Have the players got the stomach for the fight anymore ?. They've been there , seen it done it and it seems they haven't the heart anymore. The strength of the last 4 years with the tight unit of more or less the same players has become a problem. Does familiarity breed contempt ?. Certainly they have served us superbly but its time for a change. Carpenter, Mayo, Cullip, Watson etc are pale shadows of their formal selves.

Its amazing we are still 4th which shows how rubbish this league is as we are playing the worst we have for 4 years.

McGhee can hope for a play off at best.

In a way its almost irrelevant whether we go up or not as if we do we cannot compete in div 1 with our restrictions.

We will only be a proper football club again when we have a new stadium.

Mcghee can only be judged on the players he brings in. Coppell did not make one bad loan or permanent signing and I'm hoping he has the same eye for a player. Alarm bells re Mcghee will only start ringing if his signings resemble those made by Hinshelwood.

I'd be happy if we didn't go up but some of the younger players came on a bit this season and established themselves for next

I think it is time to ring the changes. We don't need to throw the baby out with the bathwater, getting rid of one or two of the underperforming regulars may be all that is needed.

McGhee also needs to identify who the best of the young players are and integrate them into the team.
