For those who want a break from the stress of the City, try St Nicks church on a Wednesday lunchtime (12.30 - 1.00) for a free recital. Can be very calming.

A couple of weeks ago it was flute & piano, last week the harpsichord and this week it's a soprano (Tony?)

Apart from being free, I've found it quite relaxing, although that maybe because of the smell of the herbals as you walk through the churchyard!.

Actually very good today.

The singer, called Lucinda double-barreled, was like an older, posher, version of the bird from Evanessence. She sang songs in German, Greek, French & Hungarian & sang with gusto & passion.
