O/T - Leasehold/freehold disagreement question.

I am a leaseholder in a building converted into 3 flats. The 2 leaseholders have decided to proceed with the external decoration of our property against my wishes based on it being a ridiculous time of year to start decorating the outside of the building and me not being convinced by the quote which seems too cheap for the job to be done properly.

Do I have any form of recourse or am I obliged to pay my share of the costs?

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

I'd have a quick look at the Leaseholders Reform Act 2002. Or contact the Freeholder and advise him of your displeasure and your reluctance to proceed and state your reasons. If you own a share of the Freehold as well, then you will have to battle it out with the other two if you own the same equal share.
