O/T Boxing Degale vs Groves

Watched them on Ringside last night, should be a cracker, but can't help thinking Degale, as good as he is, has lost the plot a bit with his 'trashtalk'. I know it sells tickets but Groves is a quality boxer and deserves a bit more respect, taunts about his breath and calling him an ugly ginger kid is not really what top class boxers should be about.

IMHO I think Groves will win, but then it sets up a big money re match.

I think Degale will win but Groves made him look like a dick last night. He's not doing himself any favours with the trash talk, there's a fine line between entertaining and going too far. He's not going to be the guy people want to win after last night. Looking forward to the fight anyways.

There is NOTHING more satisfying than beating someone when they've been talking shit all month (I've done it once, in 11 fights...)

De Gale trash talking is making him look the biggest idiot in boxing today. At least make your put downs humorous rather than the child like insults. The guy lacks class and I hope Groves who conducts him self well and writes decent columns for Boxing News destroys him. Unfortunately I think De Gale has the edge based on recent performances.

I'm not a boxing nut but watch a lot of fights on tv.I've seen George groves fight before he is a good boxer a bit flamboyant but not a puncher & holds his gloves low down.Degale is arrogant & gobby but I think he is a good boxer who can punch if only he could keep his mouth shut as he is still a novice in professional boxing,my money would be on degale for this fight.
