O/T Boxing Amir Khan to fight Junior Witter?

The fight won't happen for a variety of reasons.

Mainly sky sports have saved the date for a ppv and witter isn't a big enough name to command an audience.

Secondly by his own admittance witter cannot or would struggle to make the 140 pound weight limit.

Witter hasn't fought due to injury for close to 2 years and has lost his last 2 fights.

IMO khan will fight Prescott, katsidis or John Murray as a long shot.

Exactly, the only way they would sell it as a PPV would be to hype Witter as the man Hatton ducked (which is true) but Witter is no way a suitable opponent for Khan

It's a shame Witter did get more of a chance in his peak years, but if this fight comes off - and I doubt it - it will all be about convincing us Witter is the fighter he used to be, which sadly, I doubt he is.
